We are expanding our Finance team with an exciting opening for a Financial Marketing Specialist! If you are analytical, love working with numbers and looking to take on a new challenge then this role is perfect for you!

So, what will my day to day look like?

As our Financial Marketing Specialist, you will be working closely and communicating regularly with our country managers in order to provide support and financial insight into marketing and cost accounting distribution across our brands. This means keeping on top of financial forecasts, budgets and allocation of actual costs, in order to ensure that the monthly marketing spend is in line with the budgets/forecast set. Acting as a support across departments, you will be able to provide feedback in terms of marketing performance and suggestions from a financial perspective working as a right-hand support to our Head of Business Finance. What’s more, you will be responsible for book-keeping and ensuring marketing and affiliate costs are accurate on a monthly basis. Every day you strive to be thorough and get annoyed at yourself when a mistake is made as you know the repercussions of such mistakes and how frustrating this can be for yourself and others. That's why you have a great eye for detail and ensure everything is checked over before pressing the pay-out button. Being a supportive leader and team player, you will be managing your team members and recruiting for your team together with the Heads of Department. You will be responsible for your team goals and objectives and pro-actively share knowledge and develop your team members.

Requirements

“Cool, I’m ready to do it” is what you’re thinking so hopefully you will start to nod with the next sentences too. You have at least three years’ experience within a similar role or have been responsible for a similar set up before. You are ACCA/University qualified and can take full ownership of the responsibilities assigned including taking initiative to learn new processes as they arise. No task is too big or small, you seek solutions at all times and bring positive energy to those around you even when your head is deep in numbers. You have a pretty good knowledge of excel, including data manipulation, you’re also familiar with other office software applications and are proud of it. Experience using Microsoft Dynamics (NAV) and experience in a similar role will be a definite plus on your application!

Communication via chat/video messaging and face to face in this role is key, and you are confident to work with others but also independently and uphold a high standard of work ethic, ensuring both confidentiality and always ensuring to complete all assigned tasks accurately. Being part of a bigger team, you do like a diverse working environment with people from different cultures. You take your work seriously and can be trusted to use your initiative to meet agreed deadlines.
