We are looking for someone like you to take on this exciting role as our Treasury Specialist in our Malta office. Working as a team means you will be working closely with various members of staff in different departments on a day to day basis. So if you are highly motivated, up for a new challenge, willing to learn and grow within a dynamic company, then this role is perfect for you!

Let’s break that down a bit, so yes you will be in charge for the treasury management process from start to finish. This means maintaining banking and payment service providers relationships, overseeing bank and PSPs and other cash book reconciliations, reviewing non-customer payments, ensuring that cash is allocated in accordance to business needs and provide cash flow forecasts. Ultimately you will be the go-to person for all treasury queries within our group. Hence, you are thorough and get annoyed at yourself when mistakes are made as you know the repercussions and how frustrating these can be! That is why you naturally have a good eye for detail and take care to ensure that everything is checked over before pressing the pay-out button.

As a treasury specialist, you will be managing your team members and will be involved with the recruitment processes together with the head of finance and tax compliance. You will be responsible for your team goals and objectives and in developing your team members the their full potential.

You have at least three years’ experience within a similar role or have been responsible for a similar set up before making you confident with what to do! You are a self-starter and can take full ownership of the responsibilities assigned including taking initiative to learn new processes as they arise and keep on improving them.

No task is too big or small, you seek solutions at all times and bring positive energy to those around you even when your head is buried in the numbers. You are ACCA/University qualified, have a pretty good knowledge of excel, including data manipulation, and familiar with other office software applications. What's more, if you have experience using Microsoft Dynamics (NAV) this will be a definite plus on your application!

Communication via chat/video messaging and face to face in this role is key, and you are confident to work with others but also independently. You uphold a high standard of work ethic, ensuring both confidentiality and accurate completion on all assigned tasks. You take your work seriously and can be trusted to use your initiative to meet agreed deadlines.
